Facebook Ads are Dead - Confirmed Scam since our first blog about Billy Gene and Real Estate Facebook ads

So, Facebook just announced something that sent content creators into a scared frenzy...Something we have been saying this entire time about the Billy Gene is Marketing scam and the Real Estate ads scam. Nobody is going on Facebook to buy B.S. like these marketing scams are trying to sell you.

In Mark Zuckerberg's own words, he said:

"Video and other public content have exploded on Facebook in the past couple of years. Since there's more public content than posts from your friends and family, the balance of what's in News Feed has shifted away from the most important thing Facebook can do -- help us connect with each other."

And he went on:

"As we roll this out, you'll see less public content like posts from businesses, brands, and media."

Or, in other words, people who have business pages should expect much less reach.

Why? Because they want to facilitate connections between friends.

I think it's a great idea. Facebook should be about connection, and I don't fault him for his decision.

But as a business, we should expect our content to be seen less frequently by our fans and customers.

I've long told people to NEVER build their audience on someone else's' platform - like Facebook or Instagram. And this is the #1 reason why. They can change something that ruins your business overnight.

This is especially concerning now.

I've talked to a few business owners, and I learned that more and more people abandoned their blogs and websites to create content on social platforms.

On the one hand, I get it. If that's where your people are, that's where they are. Put the content there.

Then this happens.

Now, all that hard work is pretty much wasted. And people have come to me and asked, "Well, what do YOU plan to do?"

SEO - SEO  - SEO - Build your own website and blog DUH!!!!! People will never stop googling things that they need. It's second nature. You need to get your website and customer reviews in front of people who are googling keywords related to your business.
